Metro KTEB FBO Revised
Northern New Jersey´s commuter terminus and base of Metro Helicopter Operations.
The scenery was reworked to be compatible with FSX. Start points were
added for the two large helipads located on the grass. The helipads were
reworked to eliminate them being below the grass in FSX. A parking lot
with cars was added to the left of the hangar along with a chopper trailer and
fueling object group in front of the hangar.

KTEB VFR Landmarks
In a 2007
letter the Trafffic Manager of the Teterboro Tower described the Sierra
Helicopter Departure Route as follows: Direct to "Coke""(wind sock along
Moonachie Avenue [400 50' 04" N/740 03' 26" W]-direct to stack at metal
treatment plant [40º 49' 49"N/74º 03' 20" W] -direct to Vincent Lombardi Service
Area, thence to the west entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel via overhead the east
extension of I95- to Route3 to the Hudson River. This scenery provides the
Coke Plant with windsock, the Metal Treatment Plant and the Vincent Lombardi
Service Area along the New Jersey Turnpike. Use the real vfr landmarks to
fly the Sierra Helicopter route.

Metro Facility at Republic Airport (KFRG) Long Island, Revised
Special Metro
Helicopters add-on to the Republic Airport Scenery. Adds a Metro sign to the
office/hangar located opposite Atlantic Aviation On the south side of the field,
just west of the arrival end of runway 1. The FSX update provides landable
surfaces for all helipads. The FS2004 revision removes some of the trees
around the Moire Helipad to make it a bit easier to locate, removes redundant H
helipad markings on the ramp and provides the Metro Helicopters sign on the
Hangar opposite Atlantic Aviation without the need for a separate download
package.

NYC/NJ Airport Helipad AF2 files for FS2004 and FSX
AFCAD AF2 files for all helipads at JFK, LGA and EWR, based on location data in airport charts, helipad size and type info available on AIRNAV.COM
and Google satellite images. LGA pads relocated slightly from real world positions to correlate with default FS scenery. All pads
will appear in the FS2004 and FSX airport directory.

Metro and MetroLife Los Angeles Area Scenery
Metro FBO at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) Revised for FS2004 and FSX
Metro hangars and offices, multiple helipads and ramp equipment
and night lighting. Located at the world famous Van Nuys Airport
north of Los Angeles. The scenery pack was freshened up including adding
real-world neighbor National Helicopter Service just to the south, two hangars
have animated doors, redundant object libraries were eliminated and are now
installed separately, some objects with texture issues were replaced and the
FS2004 and FSX packs are now combined into one.

LAX West Heliport
Located
at LAX on the roof of parking structure #4 at 401 World Way is the busiest
heliport in the Los Angeles area. Not included in either FS2004 or FSX
default scenery, Metro now has a place to land at LAX. Complete with
refueling station and night lights.
